简而言之：SideInk 是一款本地优先的桌面便签待办工具。你的待办和便签默认只保存在你自己的电脑上；只有在你主动使用 AI 功能或发送反馈时，相关内容才会离开你的设备。

1. 保存在你设备上的数据

你的待办、便签、完成记录、外观偏好等，均保存在本机应用数据目录中，不会自动上传到我们的服务器。你可以随时在设置里打开备份文件夹、导出或删除。

2. AI 功能与数据

当你主动使用「AI 拆解」「聚类整理」「AI 代劳」等功能时，相关那一条（或那几条）待办的文本内容会被发送给 AI 模型服务进行处理并返回结果。这是这些功能工作所必需的。

内置免费 AI：请求经我们的中转服务（部署于 Vercel）转发给模型提供方（当前为 Groq，兜底 Google Gemini）。中转仅用于转发请求，不以可识别你身份的方式长期留存你的便签内容。
你自己的 API Key：若你在设置里填了自己的模型 Key（如 OpenAI、DeepSeek、Claude、OpenRouter、Groq 等），请求会直接发往你选择的提供方，受其各自隐私政策约束。

不使用 AI 功能时，不会有任何便签内容因此被发送。

3. 反馈（@sideink）

当你在便签里写 @sideink 你的内容 并回车，这条你主动填写的反馈文本会发送给开发者，用于改进产品。除你写入的内容外，我们不随之收集你的其它便签。

4. 信息采集 / RSS 代劳

若你使用信息收集类的「AI 代劳」，应用会直接抓取若干公开来源的 RSS 内容（当前为内置的固定资讯源，覆盖综合新闻、科学、科技等领域），经 AI 整理后写入你自己选定的本地文件夹（通常是 Obsidian 库，也可以是任意文件夹）。抓取的是公开来源、不上传你的便签；结果只写到你本机的文件。

5. 更新检查（官网下载版）

从官网下载的版本会向发布服务器（GitHub / 阿里云 OSS）检查是否有新版本，此过程仅涉及常规网络请求信息，不上传你的便签数据。Mac App Store 版本不含此自更新，更新由 App Store 负责。

6. 第三方服务

在上述场景下，可能涉及：模型提供方（Groq、Google、以及你自选的提供方）、中转与托管（Vercel）、反馈存储（Upstash）。它们各自有独立的隐私政策。我们不与广告商或数据经纪商共享你的数据。

7. 儿童

本产品面向一般用户（App Store 分级 4+，无不良内容），不针对低龄儿童设计，也不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。

8. 政策变更

本政策如有更新，将修改本页顶部的日期并在此发布。未来若推出多端同步、账号体系或使用数据统计等功能，我们会在其上线前相应更新本政策，说明届时会收集与处理哪些数据。

Privacy Policy

In short: SideInk is a local-first desktop notes & to-do app. Your to-dos and notes are stored only on your own Mac by default. Content leaves your device only when you actively use an AI feature or send feedback.

1. Data stored on your device

Your to-dos, notes, completion history, and appearance preferences are stored in the app's local data folder and are not automatically uploaded to our servers. You can open the backup folder, export, or delete them at any time in Settings.

2. AI features and data

When you actively use features like "AI breakdown", "clustering", or "AI agent", the text of the relevant to-do item(s) is sent to an AI model service to be processed and returned. This is necessary for those features to work.

Built-in free AI: requests are relayed through our proxy (hosted on Vercel) to the model provider (currently Groq, with Google Gemini as fallback). The proxy only forwards requests and does not retain your note content long-term in a personally identifiable way.
Your own API key: if you enter your own model key in Settings (e.g. OpenAI, DeepSeek, Claude, OpenRouter, Groq), requests go directly to the provider you chose, subject to their respective privacy policies.

No note content is sent for AI purposes when you don't use AI features.

3. Feedback (@sideink)

When you type @sideink your message and press Enter, that feedback text you wrote is sent to the developer to improve the product. We do not collect your other notes along with it.

4. Information gathering / RSS agent

If you use the information-gathering "AI agent", the app fetches RSS content directly from several public sources (currently a fixed, built-in set of feeds spanning general news, science, and tech), and after AI organizes it, writes the result into a local folder you choose (typically an Obsidian vault, but it can be any folder). Only public sources are fetched and your notes are never uploaded; results are written only to files on your own Mac.

5. Update checks (website download build)

The build downloaded from our website checks the release servers (GitHub / Alibaba Cloud OSS) for updates. This involves only ordinary network request information and never uploads your note data. The Mac App Store build has no self-update; updates are handled by the App Store.

6. Third-party services

In the scenarios above, the following may be involved: model providers (Groq, Google, and any provider you choose), relay & hosting (Vercel), feedback storage (Upstash). Each has its own privacy policy. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

7. Children

This is a general-audience product (App Store rating 4+, no objectionable content). It is not designed for young children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revision here. Should we later introduce features such as cross-device sync, accounts, or usage analytics, we will update this policy before they launch to explain what data is then collected and processed.
